Workshop Description:
Slow Stitching: Practice slowing down with a needle and thread. Using small pieces of hand-dyed fabric and simple stitches, you can enjoy the mindful act of slow stitching. In this class, we will create 2-3 collages and start stitching on one. Slow stitching includes different hand stitching techniques. We will focus on the running stitch for beginners, but you can also try more advanced stitches. Your finished pieces can be mounted on card bases or used as patches for holes in your favourite sweater or blanket.
Price: $55/person
Supplies included: fabric bundle (ecodyed), needle, DMC thread, and two card bases.
This class is also available for small groups to book on the date of your choice in the Edmonton area.
Class size: 3-4 people required for booking small group lessons. Maximum 10.
