Ideas for Using Hand-dyed Muslin Ribbon

For the artist looking for more rustic and hand-crafted finishing touches, muslin ribbon offers a lot of versatility. Muslin ribbons can be used like you use all ribbon. My ribbons come in generous 2.5 cm (1 inch) strips that can be used as is or cut and ripped into smaller pieces. I keep every little string. The colourful bits are perfect for adding layers behind and underneath elements. Here are a few examples of how I’ve used bigger pieces and tiny bits and strings to add texture to my projects. You can purchase my ribbon here.

To learn how I made the gel plate prints check out my Gel Plate printing class on Creative Scrapbooker. The class is part of the 2020 Carnival and will be available for replay after the even on Sept 26th, 2020.
